Situated in a dominant position on the surrounding hills, in the heart of Chianti, a few kilometers from Florence, we find this splendid example of a medieval castle. Built at the end of the 12th century, it belonged to the famous Buondelmonti family, who gradually transformed it into a noble villa, combining medieval and Renaissance forms.
The building consists of two main buildings joined by a quadrangular tower and consists of several reception rooms, a magnificent loggia overlooking the pool, twelve rooms and twelve bathrooms.
Today the Castle is perfectly restored and well cared for down to the smallest detail, which is also reflected in the furnishings, making the structure a splendid and elegant Historic House which still contains all its charm.
